Letter from the President

First off, I’m so glad you stopped by to learn more about Alpha Omicron Pi and the sisterhood that is established at Wingate University! I cannot begin to express how honored I am to serve as Chapter President of the Alpha Epsilon Chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi. In October of 2014, Alpha Omicron Pi was brought to the Wingate University campus, and 40 lovely woman were selected to be founding sisters of our chapter. After a couple months of learning about AOII and building a sisterhood, the Alpha Epsilon Chapter was established on January 25, 2015. I have had the privilege of seeing the growth within the Alpha Epsilon Chapter over these past two years, and what a wonderful two years they have been. Our chapter has had the honor of raising awareness for the Arthritis Foundation internationally, as well as awareness for domestic violence locally. “Inspire Ambition” is a statement all AOII’s live by. Within our sisterhood we live out this statement by supporting sisters academically, cheering on sisters from the audience, giving every sister a shoulder to lean on, and loving each and every sister because they are one of a kind. Alpha Omicron Pi. These three words have made me a better friend, leader, student, and sister during my collegiate experience. I don’t know where I would be if it wasn’t for Alpha Omicron Pi. Experiencing this sisterhood is a once in a lifetime opportunity that will last a lifetime. I hope you have the chance to meet the beautiful, intelligent, and loving women of Alpha Omicron Pi here at Wingate University. If you have any questions about our organization or Greek life in general, please feel free to reach out.
